As a Lead HubSpot Consultant (Delivery Lead Track), you’ll lead some of our most challenging and exciting projects – helping clients transform their businesses by aligning Process, Platform, and People through HubSpot. Our client base spans diverse industries, including manufacturing, wineries, wealth advisory, biotech, and more.
You’ll work closely with clients to translate complex requirements into streamlined HubSpot architecture – mapping RevOps processes, integration data flows, and sophisticated user journeys.
You’ll lead implementation projects from planning through delivery, ensuring outcomes are on time, in scope, and exceed expectations.
Beyond project leadership, you’ll act as a force multiplier within our high-performing Delivery team – elevating experienced HubSpot specialists through mentoring, embedding best practices, and scaling operational efficiency.
We’re one of the fastest HubSpot implementation partners to achieve Platinum and Diamond in the APAC region and on track to hit Elite by the end of this year. You’ll have a unique opportunity to shape delivery frameworks, own critical initiatives, and help scale a rapidly growing business.
We’re based in Sydney and offer a flexible remote work model, with no mandatory office days—only bi-weekly or ad hoc planning sessions, plus occasional in-person client meetings (less than 5% of total meetings).
The Role
The intention for this role is to start with a full focus on Client Delivery responsibilities and transition into a 50/50 player-coach role, based on demonstrated leadership and evolving business needs.
Keep doing the things you love (building, solving complex client problems), while developing into a leadership role to elevate an already high-performing team.
Client Delivery (100% initially, transitions to 50% as your leadership within the team establishes)
You will collaborate extensively with our CTO & co-founder through pairing, solution design
discussions, and direct contributions to projects. Your responsibilities will include:
- Run client workshops to understand their business needs and objectives, and design HubSpot CRM solutions to meet those requirements;
- Create detailed process and workflow maps, data flow diagrams (including integration diagrams), as well as other requirements documents (e.g. reporting requirements) for the Build Lead and Technicians to implement;
- Work closely with our Implementation team to help them understand customer requirements and drive high quality of builds by sharing feedback;
- Work with our developers on advanced use cases (custom-coded workflows, APIs);
- Create HubSpot implementation Project Plans using our existing templates in GSheets and ClickUp (or suggesting best practices based on your experience);
- Develop and deliver customised training programs for power users, equipping them with the knowledge and skills to manage HubSpot effectively;
- Conduct hands-on training sessions for frontline users, focusing on essential HubSpot tools and best practices to enhance their daily operations;
- Manage client relationships during the project delivery and proactively identify opportunities for upsell;
- Stay up-to-date with the latest HubSpot features, updates, and industry trends to ensure clients benefit from the most current solutions.
Team Leadership (transitions to 50%)
Our team is already proficient in HubSpot implementations and have delivered over 100 HubSpot implementations over the past 12 months. The leadership role’s goal is to be a force multiplier.
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and 1:1s for CRM Specialists and Build Leads.
- Review and improve CRM Specialist output (e.g. scoping documents, training agendas, client comms).
- Drive delivery best practices by implementing standardised templates, reusable playbooks, and scalable frameworks.
- Act as an escalation point for complex delivery challenges; both technical and client-facing.
- Lead internal delivery retros, drive team improvement themes, and manage performance dashboards. Inspire a culture of learning, ownership, and continuous improvement within the delivery team.
- Collaborate with the CTO to allocate work, manage capacity, and optimise project flow using ClickUp.
What will the first 30-90 days look like
30 days – Get settled into your new role and company, become familiar with our delivery approach by shadowing live projects; hit the ground running by taking on your first projects, running your first process mapping and solution design sessions as well as your first training sessions.
60 days – Fully ramp as a HubSpot Consultant and CRM Specialist owning ~5 mid and high complexity HubSpot implementations. Identify and successfully implement immediate opportunities to improve team’s efficiency (via reusable templates, process improvements, automation, etc.).
90-120+ days – You’d now be hitting maximum business impact via individual contribution and through mentoring, coaching and upskilling of new hires and our delivery team. You will be demonstrating strong ownership of team’s outcomes and will be stepping into the Lead role with a 50/50 split between running your own projects and leading the team.
How success will be measured
Client Delivery
Success in this role will be measured by the quality and efficiency of complex CRM implementation projects. Quality will be assessed through customer satisfaction and feedback on deliverables and communication, while efficiency will be judged by adherence to project plans and scope. Additionally,
success includes reducing ongoing delivery effort through process improvements and the use of reusable templates.
Team Leadership
- CRM Specialists consistently deliver to a high standard with reduced need for escalation.
- Delivery documentation and training plans are standardised and streamlined.
- Complex projects are handled proactively and deliver high client satisfaction.
- Team morale is high and staff feel supported, guided, and challenged.
- Reusable components (process maps, builds, training videos) are actively used across the team.

- Excellent problem-solving abilities, grounded in a client-first mindset.
- Excellent client communication and presentation skills. Skilled at translating complex technical concepts into clear, accessible language for non-technical audiences.
- Collaborative team player with a strong commitment to quality and outcomes.
- Adept at managing project constraints and guiding clients toward optimal solutions within defined scopes and timelines. Experience with ClickUp (and similar) is a bonus.
- Any past experience leading and growing delivery teams, as well as driving RevOps and Marketing Automation projects is a plus.
