Ian MacDougall
I started True North Talent because I’ve seen too many hiring decisions treated like an afterthought instead of a strategy — especially in platform roles across Salesforce, HubSpot, and braze. The right person changes the trajectory of a team.
I’m not a traditional recruiter. I come from business development and stakeholder management — where outcomes matter and relationships are earned. Old-school values. No BS and a lot of hustle. I say what needs to be said early so it doesn’t come back later.
I’m building True North Talent around a simple idea: fewer clients, higher standards, real conversations. I want to build something I’m genuinely proud of — where we look after people, protect outcomes, and leave the ecosystem better off than we found it.
